Last night at the Billabong Salute to Pipeline, we celebrated some of Hawaii’s greatest surfing Ohanas. The night kicked off at Turtle Bay's Surfer the Bar with an exhibition of surfboards paying tribute to the Hawaiian families that are looked up to all around the world both in and out of the surfing community.
Kaipo Guerrero hosted the event, as each family took their turn speaking to the crowd, engaging them from start to finish by telling unheard stories of their Ohanas. It was truly a once in a lifetime sight to see.
